Stuart Little was published in 1945 by E.B. White, who also wrote Charlotte’s Web. The story about Stuart, a human-like mouse, became very popular. There is even a film and a TV series featuring famous Stuart!  Stuart Little was E.B. White’s first children’s book. In 1952 Charlotte’s Web also became an instant bestseller.
